Play Instructions:
- Install the game - Full Installation.
- Apply the official Kings Quest 8 v1.3 Patch.
- Create the following directory: <GameDir>\CD
- Copy the following directories & file (mask.inf) from the original CD to <GameDir>\CD:
- Barren
- CastleD
- Daventry
- DeadCity
- Gnome
- IceWorld
- Snowexit
- Swamp
- temple1
- temple2
- temple3
- temple4
- mask.inf
- Edit the file mask.inf which is in <GameDir> (not the one from <GameDir>\CD!) and change:
[Install]
Drive=D:\
to
[Install]
Drive=.\CD\
- Extract the CRACK.EXE Patch from the archive to the game directory.
- Execute the Patch to remove the CD-Check.
- Play the Game!

- Burning Rom (4.0.0.5 or higher).

CD-Copy.

NOTE: |
Use an 80 minutes CD-R or OverSize a 74 minutes CD-R to burn.
In some cases it is better to use the CD-Writer as Source CD-Reader as it is usually better able to read unreadable sectors. |
