• Jagged Alliance v1.01 [GERMAN] Protection Fix #2

• Create the following temporary directories:
  • TempDir#1 :  C:\TEMP\CD1
  • TempDir#2 :  C:\TEMP\CAB
• Copy the full contents of the original CD#1 to TempDir#1
• Extract the File Archive to the TempDir#2
• Copy the DATA1.CAB from TempDir#1 to TempDir#2.
• Open a DOS-Box and change directory (CD) to TempDir#2.
• Remove the Read-Only attribute from DATA1.CAB:  attrib -R DATA1.CAB
• Execute: i5comp r DATA1.CAB JA2.EXE
  This will Replace the JA2.EXE file in the DATA1.CAB file.
• Replace the DATA1.CAB from TempDir#1 with the one in TempDir#2.
• Burn the contents of TempDir#1 to a 74 minutes CD-R and use this CD-Label:  Install_cd
• Play the Game!

• Use CDRWIN 3.7D and select the "Ignore Error" option to copy the CD onto a 74 minutes CD-R.
• Play the Game!

• Install the game.
• Extract the JA2CRK.EXE Patch from the File Archive to the game directory.
• Execute the Patch to remove the CD-Check.
• Play the Game!

• Install the game.
• Extract the JA2US104.EXE Update to the game directory, overwriting existing files.
• Execute the Update to update the game.
• Replace the existing JA2.EXE file with the one from CRACK.ZIP archive.
• Play the Game!

• Install the game.
• Replace the original JA2.EXE file with the one from File Archive.
• Play the Game!

• Create the following temporary directories:
  • TempDir#1 :  C:\TEMP\CD1
  • TempDir#2 :  C:\TEMP\CD2
  • TempDir#3 :  C:\TEMP\CAB
• Use BlindRead to copy the full contents of the original CD#1 to TempDir#1
• Use BlindRead to copy the full contents of the original CD#2 to TempDir#2 - Except for the (hidden) LaserLok directory.
• Extract the I5COMP.ZIP archive to TempDir#3.
• Extract the JA2.EXE from the File Archive to the TempDir#3
• Copy the DATA1.CAB from TempDir#1 to TempDir#3.
• Open a DOS-Box and change directory (CD) to TempDir#3.
• Remove the Read-Only attribute from DATA1.CAB:  attrib -R DATA1.CAB
• Execute: i5comp r DATA1.CAB JA2.EXE
  This will Replace the JA2.EXE file in the DATA1.CAB file.
• Replace the DATA1.CAB from TempDir#1 with the one in TempDir#3.
• Burn the contents of TempDir#1 to a 74 minutes CD-R and use this CD-Label:  Install_cd
• Burn the contents of TempDir#2 to a 74 minutes CD-R and use this CD-Label:  Play_cd
• Play the Game!

• Install the game.
• Apply the official Jagged Alliance v1.01 Update.
• Extract the CRACK.EXE patch to the game directory.
• Execute the patch to remove the LaserLock protection.
• Play the Game!

• Install the game.
• Apply the official Jagged Alliance v1.01 Update.
• Extract the EXTERMINATE!.EXE patch to the game directory.
• Execute the patch to remove the LaserLock protection.
• Play the Game!
