| GameFix has posted unSafeDisc v1.5.5 from r!sc.
unSafeDisc Updates:
- Fixed the crimson problem (crc_with_reloc code). It seems it didn't get the correct crc for Unreal Tournament.
- Removed the part of code that creates database keyfiles.
- unSafeDisc 1.5.5 is the last version, there will not be any updates...

DAEMON Tools Updates:
- Up to 4 PHANTOM drives supported.
- All PHANTOM drives can be disabled.
- New command line options: -unmount, -safedisc and securom.
- Setup improved for Windows 2000 - no reboot required!
- PnP support for Windows2000 - full support for 'Stand By' and 'Hibernation' modes.
- Some small bugs fixed and enhancements made.

LaserLock Import Fixer is a Generic LaserLock Patcher which is able to remove the CD Protection from LaserLock protected CDs. The archive also includes the C++ source-code if you want to compile it yourself! |
| False Virus Alerts... |
| It seems that Norton AntiVirus has been updated recently as we are getting a lot of virus reports. In our opinion Norton AntiVirus is the worst kind of AntiVirus package you could use as it is just too damn paranoid! It will reports that certain patches, which are available here, contain a virus or trojan horse (mostly the SubSeven.x or BackDoor-xxx Virus/Trojan). In all cases these are FALSE Virus Alerts as the virus in question is not there!
Keep in mind that Patches are ALWAYS suspicious as they are mend to alter the contents of an executable/data file and this is usually wrongly detected by some (stupid) AntiVirus software!
We are doing our utmost to avoid adding infected patches therefore all files on GameCopyWorld are regularly checked with the latest McAfee AntiVirus suite and do not contain any Virus or Trojan Horses. But we can never guarantee that a new virus will slip in... |

- CloneCD image format (.ccd) with full subchannel info supported!
- ISO image formats 2048/2352 added (auto-recognized).

- Relative path 'FILE' commands allowed in CUE file.
- Emulation support for latest Safedisc version.
- Securom support improved.

- 1.5.1 added a bug in the crc routine, stopped unwrapping games with sections smaller than 4kb (aoe2.0a, madden2001)

| ScAEvoLa's PatchEngine is a GUI-based patch engine which compares two files and creates a Windows 9x/ME/3.51/NT/2K compatible GUI-based standalone patch/executable. No runtime libraries are needed for the engine and the patch itself is very small (minimal 4 KB in size).
