• Always make a backup of the files that are overwritten by the File Archive, as the original files are usually needed to update the game to a newer version!

• Create the following temporary directories:
  • TempDir :  C:\TEMP\CD
• Copy the full contents of the original CD to TempDir.
• Change file attributes from Read-Only to Archive.
• Replace the GORKY17.EXE, FLIST.1 & FLIST.2 files with the one from the archive.
• Burn the contents of TempDir to a CD-R using this CD-Label:  GORKY17
• Play the game!

• Create the following temporary directories:
  • TempDir :  C:\TEMP\CD
• Copy the full contents of the original CD to TempDir.
• Change file attributes from Read-Only to Archive.
• Replace the GORKY17.EXE, FLIST.1 & FLIST.2 files with the one from the archive.
• Burn the contents of TempDir to a CD-R using this CD-Label:  Gorky17
• Play the game!

• Copy all contents of the Original to a folder
• on Harddrive and replace the 3 Files with the ones from the ZIP-Archive.
• Reburn this Game using the Label: GORKY17
• Play the Game!

• Copy the <CD>:/DAT/Common/VOICE.DAT file to to <GameDir>/DAT/Common directory.
• Edit the directories in g17fix.reg to match the game directory on HD.
• Execute/Double-Click the g17fix.reg file to update the windows registry.
• Play the Game!

• Install the game full.
• Replace the GORKY17.EXE file with the one from the File Archive.
• Play the Game!
