CD-Cops is a commercial CD Copy Protection. Software companies buy this protection, so they won't have to spend time creating one themselves, but still get a quite nice protection. |

Patch Instructions:
- Execute MCL-CD32.EXE.
- In the mcLallo's CD-Cops32 Decrypter v1.0 window click [Open File].
- Browse to the folder of the CD-Cops protected application and select the .W_X file.
The .W_X file is the original Main Executable file before the application was protected by CD-Cops.
- Let the computer count from 255 to 0.
- If nothing fails, click [Save File] and choose a new destination filename ( with .EXE file-extension).
- Done.
|
NOTE: |
Sometimes, the program stops in the middle and says it has found the key, and sometimes it goes trough all of them, and then chooses a key. These are two different methods the decrypter has to choose between depending on in what way the file is encrypted. Both should be equally safe, though.
The Decrypter works for CD-Cops protection that has a file with the extension .W_X and only if it's earlier than version 1.60. |
