Play Instructions:
- Install the game - Full Installation.
- Copy the GERMAN-Folder and all missing *.SND from the original CD to the game directory.
- Edit the STBOF.INI file and change the cdpath to: cdpath=.\
- Replace the original TREK.EXE file with the one from File Archive.
- Play the Game!

- Execute the Patch to remove the CD-Check from: TREK.EXE
- Play the Game!

- Install the game - Full Installation.
- Apply the Star Trek: BotF v1.02 Update.
- Execute USTREK.EXE to play the game without the SafeDisc Protection!

- Create the following temporary directory:
- Use BlindRead to copy the full contents of the CD to TempDir#1.
- Remove the Read-Only attribute from TREK.EXE: attrib -R TREK.EXE
- Extract the TREK.EXE file from the Archive to the TempDir#1 directory, overwriting the original file.
- Burn the contents of TempDir#1 to a 74 minutes CD-R and use this CD-Label: Botf
- Play the Game!

Make a backup of the original TREK.EXE for future patching.
This patch also works fine for the ENGLISH version. |

- When ready click Copy CD to start the copy
process.

NOTE: |
Use an 80 minutes CD-R or OverSize a 74 minutes CD-R to burn.
In some cases it is better to use the CD-Writer as Source CD-Reader as it is usually better able to read unreadable sectors.
Keep in mind that only a limited amount of CD-Readers is capable of reading the SafeDisc protected CD! |
