• Always make a backup of the files that are overwritten by the File Archive, as the original files are usually required to update the game to a newer version or to play Online!
• Some No-CD/Fixed EXE files work fine in Single Player mode but are detected to be modified when trying to play online. When this happens use the original EXE to play online, else you could find yourself banned from the game!
• When using Fixed Files make sure to use a Firewall which controls outgoing traffic, as some games call back to report the use of these modified files!
• Some original games do not work when a certain application has been installed, like DAEMON Tools. In most cases using a No-CD or Fixed EXE will solve this problem!
• Some Game Trainers are sometimes reported to be a Virus or Trojan, the most common is a keylogger called HotKeysHook or the file has been packed/protected with VMProtect or Themida and is recognized as Win32/Packed.VMProtect or Win32/Packed.Themida. In ALL cases this is a FALSE ALARM as NONE of the Game Trainers @ GCW contain known malicious code! More info in the PC Games FAQ!
• If you have problems using a trainer in combination with Windows Vista, 7, 8 or 10 then make sure to run the trainer with Administrator rights and when needed in Windows XP or Windows 98 compatibility mode!
• ALL available trainers are for Single Player/Offline use ONLY! Don't try to use them online else your account can/will be banned/closed!

• Install the game - Full Installation.
• Apply the official Black & White v1.3 Patch.
• Replace the original RUNBLACK.EXE file with the one from the File Archive.
• Play the Game!

• Create the following temporary directory:
  • TempDir#1 :  C:\TEMP\CD
  • TempDir#2 :  C:\TEMP\PATCH
• Copy the full contents of the original CD to TempDir#1.
• Copy the following files from TempDir#1 to TempDir#2:
  • DATA1.CAB
  • DATA1.HDR
  • DATA2.CAB
• Remove the Read-Only protection from the above 3 files.
• Extract the File Archive to TempDir#2.
• Extract the I6COMP.EXE from the I6Comp v0.2 archive to TempDir#2.
• Open a DOS-Box, CD to TempDir#2 and execute:
  • i6comp r DATA2.CAB RUNBLACK.EXE
    This replaces the original RUNBLACK.EXE with the Fixed Execxutable.
• Copy the following files back from TempDir#2 to TempDir#1:
  • DATA1.CAB
  • DATA1.HDR
  • DATA2.CAB
• Burn the contents of TempDir#1 to a CD-R using this CD-Label:  BNW
• Remove/Clear the TempDir#1 & TempDir#2 directories.
• Play the game!

• Create the following temporary directory:
  • TempDir :  C:\TEMP\CD
• Copy the full contents of the original CD to TempDir.
• Extract File Archive #1 to TempDir.
• Extract File Archive #2 to TempDir.
• Extract the I6COMP.EXE from the I6Comp v0.2 Archive to TempDir.
• Execute BNW_UK.BAT from the TempDir to replace the game executable in the installation files.
  The batch script will remove the obsolete files!
• Burn the contents of TempDir to a CD-R and use the same CD-Label as the original CD.
• Remove/Clear the TempDir.
• Play the game!

• Create the following temporary directory:
  • TempDir :  C:\TEMP\CD
• Copy the full contents of the original CD to TempDir.
• Extract the File Archive to TempDir.
• Extract the I6COMP.EXE from the I6Comp v1.03 archive to TempDir.
• Execute BNW_SP.BAT from the TempDir to replace the game executable in the installation files.
  The batch script will remove the obsolete files!
• Burn the contents of TempDir to a CD-R and use the same CD-Label as the original CD.
• Remove/Clear the TempDir.
• Play the game!

• Install the game - Full Installation.
• Replace the original RUNBLACK.EXE file with the one from the File Archive.
• Play the Game!
